COVID19 Model (2022)
It’s a GIS-based agent-based model (ABM) developed in Mesa framework (i.e., an ABM framework in Python). Simulates the COVID-19 outbreak, and the effectiveness of two public policy efforts (i.e., mobility restrictions and self-isolation interventions) undertaken in Montreal, Quebec, to control the epidemic in 2021. Using a thorough and realistic examination of people's interactions and mobility based on geographical data, the development of the COVID-19 spread was investigated
RecogSIM-SES Model (2021)
It’s a coupled Social-Ecological System model that couples a forest infestation model with a social model in which a governing agent applies a mechanism for recognizing and promoting environmentally responsible behavior among several user agents.
Cooperation Model (2021)
It’s an abstract agent-based model of the interactions of a principal and several agents in a hypothetical context where the principal offers the agents recognition and a good reputation in return for their cooperation in a behavior that is costly to the agents.
ABWiSE Model (2021)
It’s an agent-based model of forest fire spread that reimagines the fire front as a set of interacting agents, which, viewed in aggregate, form a line of varying thickness. Using simple rules and a basic fire-wind feedback model, agents interact with each other and their environment to produce realistic fire behaviour through emergence alone.
MELBIS Model (2021)
It’s a spatially explicit agent-based model that allows the geospatial simulation of the decision-making processes of incoming immigrants, and to analyze the resulting spatial patterns of segregation as newcomers arrive and settle in various cities in Canada.
BorealFireSIM Model (2018)
It’s a cellular automaton-based model that serves to identify future fire patterns in the boreal forest of Quebec, Canada.
RefugeePathSIM Model (2018)
It’s an agent-based model to simulate the movement behaviour of refugees in order to identify pathways of forced migration under crisis.
